NPO has successfully completed IFC (World Bank) Project of Quality Control

National Productivity Organization (NPO) has successfully completed IFC (World Bank) project of Quality control and Organizing 10 Teaser/ Pilots events in Pakistan during 2014-15 for International Finance Corporation (member of the World Bank Group).

Business Edge is proprietary training product of International Finance Corporation (IFC). IFC have developed about 54 training modules in various disciplines including Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Management and Accounting, General and Operations Management, Personal Productivity Skills and Tourism and Sector Specific Management Workshops on Accommodation Services. The module are specially designed to train SMEs and MSMEs and over 40 modules are also translated into Urdu Language.

Event-1:

Two days pilot training program on Strengthening your Financial Skills for Farmers in Urdu language.

The training session was organized for Star Farm (Pvt) Ltd and Small Farmers at Lahore from 06-07 January 2015. The session was attended by 27 participants.

Event-2:

One day teaser training program was organized on "Creating your Distribution Strategy" in English language.
The training was held on 04 February 2015 for Star Farm (Pvt) Ltd. and representatives of various businesses in their supply chain at Lahore. The session was attended by 46 participants.

Event-3:

One day pilot training program was organized on the topic of "Controlling Physical Resources" from the General and Operations Management area.
The training was held on 25th March 2015 for Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) at Lahore. The session was attended by 23 participants.

Event-4:

One day teaser training program was organized on the topic of "Leading your Team" from the Personal Productivity Skills area.
The training was held on 4th April 2015 for Institute of Business Management (IoBM) at Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI), Karachi. The session was attended by 54 participants.

Event-5:

Two day pilot training program was organized on the topic of "Saving Costs in an Accommodation Business" from the Accommodation Services area.
The training was held from 28 – 29 April 2015 for Hotel & Restaurant Association of Tehsil Murree at Hotel Faran Murree. The training was attended by 37 participants.

Event-6:

One day teaser training program was organized on the topic of "Assessing Marketing Opportunities" from the Marketing Management area.
The training was held on 14th May 2015 for Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) at Peshawar. The session was attended by 119 participants.

Event-7:

One day teaser training program was organized on the topic of "Motivating People" from the Personal Productivity Skills area of IFC Business Edge.

The training was held on 17th May 2015 for Socio Economic Development Consortium (SEDC) at Lahore. SEDC was selected as a partner through the EOI launched by IFC in December 2104. The session was attended by 91 participants.

Event-8:

One day teaser training program was organized on the topic of "Caring for the Customer" from the Marketing Management area of IFC Business Edge.

The training was held on 28th May 2015 for Learning Minds Group (LMG) at Karachi. LMG was selected as a partner through the EOI launched by IFC in December 2104. The session was attended by 36 participants.

Event-9:

One day teaser training program was organized on the topic of "Improving your Selling Skills" from the Marketing Management area of IFC Business Edge.
The training was organized for Advantage & Partners (Pvt) Ltd. at SITE Industry Association located at SITE Industrial Estate, Karachi and held on 30th May 2015. Advantage & Partners was selected as a partner through the EOI launched by IFC in December 2104. The session was attended by 27 participants.

Event-10:

One day teaser training program was organized on the topic of "Improving your Selling Skills" from the Marketing Management area of IFC Business Edge.

The training was organized for Total Quality Solutions (TQS) at Lahore Township Industries Association (LTIA) located at Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Lahore on 11th June 2015. Total Quality Solutions was selected as a partner through the EOI launched by IFC in December 2104. The session was attended by 70 participants.

Quality Control of Trainings:

The quality control component of the project was consisted of assessment of IFC Business Edge trainers. Under this component NPO has arranged assessments of 13 IFC Business Edge trainers for controlling the quality of training delivery.
